This week in Year 2 we started reading our new story, ‘Biscuit Bear’. We were all very surprised to see that a big mess had been made outside Elder Class earlier in the week and we predicted that it may have been Biscuit Bear trying to bake himself some friends to play with. We decided to follow a recipe and bake lots of biscuit bear friends to help him. We had great fun decorating them too, but just couldn’t resist eating them in the end – sorry Biscuit Bear.

As part of our ‘Food Glorious Food’ topic in Year 2, Elder class visited MOD Pizza. The children learnt all about how the restaurant runs, had a tour of the restaurant and carefully prepared and cooked some pizzas. I think the highlight of the trip was getting to taste their pizza masterpieces!
