This week we have been learning all about ‘The Stick Man’ ready for our trip to Weald Country Park next Thursday.  We are really looking forward to doing the StickMan Trail.

Stick Man Maths

Willow 1 and 2 have been learning how to compare objects in terms of their size.
 
The children collected sticks to make a ‘Stick Family’ linked to our core text ‘Stick Man’.
They ordered the sticks from tallest to shortest and explained the position of all of their sticks.

Stick Man Trail Trip

Reception children had a brilliant day at Weald Country Park.
They behaved impeccably and were a credit to their families and our school.
Thanks again to our super parent/grandparent helpers,  you are wonderful too!
We are so proud of them,  it was a great way to finish a great first term.
