Viking food and drink
Vikings ate dried fruit with honey on top as a sweet treat. Honey was the only sweet treat the Vikings knew. Vikings also drank ale and fresh water. Also they drank ale, mead and buttermilk daily. Feasts included the same foods – meat,fish,fowl,vegetables,wild greens,bread and fruit,but in a greater variety than usual meal and more of it. Vikings enjoyed drinking ale and mead in feasts. Mead is a strong, fermented drink made from honey.
Viking houses
Vikings houses were made of wood and and stone.
Viking clothes
Viking clothes were made from wool, lien and animal skins . The Vikings were skilful weavers and made their own clothes.
