Yesterday we learnt the ‘a’ sound / phoneme.
Below you will be able to see one of the children modelling how to say the sound correctly and the phrase for writing the sound. Just in case you can’t hear him, he is saying “Around the apple and down the leaf”.
Ask your child if they can show you anything beginning with the ‘a’ sound at home and if they can write the ‘a’ sound.
